Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates keeps confidential records and statistics about clients who use our services. All records are kept securely and are only seen by Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates personnel. These records are subject to GDPR (2018). Some of the information we may collect is classified as ‘personal data’, and we can only use such data where we have your explicit consent. Your personal and sensitive data will only be used in order to provide the service to you and for managing and quality assuring the service. Records are kept for a period of 7 years and are then destroyed.

Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates recognises that clients who use our service may wish to exercise their rights under GDPR to ask about, review, obtain and erase the information held about them. The details of these rights are outlined in the ‘terms and conditions’ which will be shared when we commence working together.

Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates is an independent and confidential psychology service. We hold information about clients we work with and the work we do together in confidence. This means that we will not normally share your name or any information about you to anyone outside of Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates. However, there are exceptional cases where Dr Rebekah Proctor Associates might ethically or legally have to give information to relevant authorities, for example if we had reason to believe that someone is at serious risk or harm or to prevent a miscarriage of justice. We will discuss any proposed disclosure with you unless we believe that to do so could increase the level of risk to you or to someone else.
