Dr Rebekah Proctor has run a successful private practice in Central Manchester since 2007. She is a consultant chartered clinical psychologist who has worked in a range of clinical, academic and professional leadership roles since qualifying in 2000, including head of Older Adult Psychology Services and Professional lead for older adult psychology services.
She has a broad range of experience in psychological assessment, psychological therapy, training and supervision of health professionals and academic research. She has been working in full-time independent practice since January 2013 and has seen the practice grow from strength to strength during this time.

Dr Proctor offers a range of different therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). These different therapeutic approaches allow Dr Proctor to provide specialist psychological therapy for a wide range of difficulties. She has a particular interest in working with psychological trauma and has extensive clinical experience in this area. She has a high level of experience working with clients who have been involved in road traffic accidents, industrial accidents, assault or abuse.
Dr Proctor provides clinical supervision to other clinical psychologists and counselling psychologists as part of her independent practice.
