Biography

Dr Watson currently works as a Clinical Psychologist within NHS Older Adult Psychology Service and has worked in private practice across Greater Manchester since 2008. She enjoys working with a variety of client issues including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, dementia, PTSD and behaviour that challenges.

She provides individual therapeutic packages for clients, in addition to neuropsychological assessments and consultation to health professionals and carers. She offers a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, EMDR, Cognitive-analytic, Systemic and Behavioural elements.

Dr Watson frequently provides training packages to other health professionals and regularly teaches on the Manchester University Clinical Psychology doctorate course. She has an interest in cognitive-analytic models of therapy and working with trauma. She completed her EMDR training in 2013 and is currently completing a skills-based certificate in using Cognitive-Analytic Therapy with complex cases.
